At R.I.C. we understand the importance of effective English teaching and learning and have produced a wide range of phonics and spelling resources. Our range of teacher resources—including teacher information, worksheets, box sets, ebooks and posters—are designed to create a fun and interesting educational experience for both students and teachers from Foundation to Year 6.
Our comprehensive resources cover topics including comprehension, text types (including recount, fairytale, biography, poem, report etc.), literacy, beginning reading and critical thinking. A wide variety of exciting, challenging and engaging texts, questions and activities will provide something to interest everyone.
Many of our series link to the Australian Curriculum. A number are all-inclusive, and all can be integrated seamlessly into your classroom.
HELPING YOU TEACH - ENGLISH READING PRACTICE

READING LEVELS – ENGLISH
There are five levels of reading, as outlined by the Australian Government.
● < level 1 – Pre-primary level
● Level 1 – Pre-year 1 to Year 6
● Level 2 – Year 7 to Year 10
● Level 3 – Years 11 and 12
● Level 4 – Certificate IV
● Level 5 – Diploma and above
