Comprehending Countries – Exploring cultures through language – Ages 8–10

Comprehending Countries use language activities to explore social and cultural aspects of 10 countries from five continents. In addition, generic pages are provided to encourage students to reflect on and compare the countries they have studied. They include a comparison chart and a profile which can be completed for any of the countries, a traditional costume activity, a flag reference page and a world map.
