Melbourne Cup is just around the corner—it really is the race that stops the nation! Teaching students about the Melbourne Cup opens up a world of cross-curricular activities, including HASS (learn about the history of the race), Mathematics (statistics about the horses and the probability of certain horses winning) and Health and Physical Education (learn more about the jockeys and horses).
